Town Board Meeting — Minutes

Town of Springwater April 14, 2025 Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. Present C/Hernandez, S/Baitinger, S/Johnson Motion by S/Baitinger, Second by S/Johnson to accept the agenda. Motion carried. Motion by S/Baitinger, Second by S/Johnson to approve theMarch 10, 2025 minutes. Motion carried. Susan Herman discussed the Covered Bridge Park and concern for who will care for the Park. Motion by S/Baitinger, Second by S/Johnson to accept checks 22749 to 22782 for a total of $80,335.91. Motion carried. Road Report: Mike started to fill in potholes but it’s a bit cold yet. The signs at Gilbert and Round Lake boat landings are up. Any signs not put up by the Town or the DNR were removed and can be picked up at the Hall if they choose, Twin Lake boat landing is repaired. A pile of brush that someone dumped by Pine Lake landing was discovered that will need to be cleaned up. The Board agreed to rent a chipper from the County to clean it up. The Wild Rose Fire Department will be holding their fundraising banquet on April 26th. Chairman Hernandez signed the Certified Survey Map for Scott Klippel. The Board of Review will be held on June 9th at 6:30pm and adjourned until October 6, 2025 at 4:00pm. The Board discussed “renting” out the Hall on a case by case basis. The Town received a $500 donation from Kayellen Hohner for the Covered Bridge Park. Future agenda items to include W. Round Lake Road, Comprehensive Plan, Covered Bridge Park.
