Town Board Meeting — Minutes

Town of Springwater Regular Board Meeting December 9, 2024 Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. Present C/Hernandez, S/Baitinger, S/Johnson Motion by S/Baitinger, Second by S/Johnson to accept the agenda. Motion carried. Motion by S/Baitinger, Second by S/Johnson to approve the November 11, 2024, regular board minutes and the November 11, 2024 Budget Hearing minutes. Motion carried. Motion by S/Baitinger, Second by S/Johnson to accept checks 22645 to 22656 for a total of $14131.62. Motion carried. A Certified Survey map was presented by Mike Jakubowski and signed by Chairman Hernandez. Waushara County Highway Commissioner, Jason Skalecki, introduced himself to the Board. He will send a calendar of on call staff so the Board can contact an employee as needed. Motion by S/Baitinger, Second by S/Johnson to accept the Boating Ordinance as the Final Draft and will send to the DNR for final approval. Motion carried. John Collins gave the Board an update on the Gilbert Lake Aquatic Plant Management Plan. Motion by S/Baitinger, Second by S/Johnson to give the Clerk, Treasurer, and Road Supervisor a $200 bonus. Motion carried. Deputy Clerk Johnson submitted her letter of resignation. The Board approved placing an ad in the Argus for a new Deputy Clerk. Violations were read for Lacount, Hanson, Tischer Family Trust, and Wilson Lake Campground and Resort, LLC. Next meeting: Caucus on January 13, 2025 at 6:30. Regular meeting on January 13, 2025 at 7:00 pm. Future agenda items: ● Additional Summer Help for the Covered Bridge Park ● Mike’s eventual replacement ● Port a potties Motion by S/Baitinger, Second by S/Johnson to adjourn the meeting at 8:00 pm.
