Plan Commission — Minutes

Plan Commission August 13, 2026 Meeting was called to order at 4:11 PM by Chairperson Paula Przywojski. Members present were: Paula Przywojski, Frank Fogel, Seth Waddell, Tom Thompson, Tim Reagles, Charlie Lipke and Mike Wellik. Mary Rinehart was also present. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Motion by Fogel/ Reagles to approve agenda passed unanimously. Public Comment: Jodi McSherry, N6078 Johnson Coulee Road spoke in opposition to the CUP application for Jesse Robertson. Rich Peddretti requested a children at play sign be placed near the driveway of N6265 Johnson Coulee Road, and that brush be cut back on Johnson Coulee Road near Ronnie Road. Motion to approve minutes of July 13, 2026 meeting by Lipke/Thompson passed unanimously. Discussion making recommendation to Town Board relating to Certified Survey Map for Travis and Dawn Taylor, and Thomas and Patricia Lyons affecting tax parcels 10-105-2, 10-105-3, and 10-105-0: Motion by Wellik/Fogel to recommend approval. Motion passed unanimously. Discussion making recommendation to Town Board relating to Conditional Use Permit application for Jesse Robertson, N6070 Johnson Coulee Road tax parcel 10-682-1, DBA TJR Improvements, LLC: Motion to defer to a future meeting due to needing additional information and the applicant not in attendance. Motion passed 6-1 (Wellik). Discussion making recommendation to Town Board relating to Town of Onalaska Subdivision Ordinance required update: Motion by Lipke/Reagles to recommend to the Board to move forward with adoption of the amendment of the Subdivision Ordinance. Motion passed unanimously. Discussion making recommendation to Town Board relating amending/updating the Town of Onalaska Comprehensive Plan and future use maps within the plan including but not limited to request from Risberg Coulee Properties LLC, tax parcel 10-01263-001, and request from Donna Kateley for tax partial 10-02127-001: Motion to approve the resolution to amend the Town of Onalaska Comprehensive Plan and future planning map for Risberg Coulee Properties LLC, tax parcel 10-01263-001 and the Kateley request for the correction of the scriveners error relating to tax parcel 10-02127-001; and to schedule a public hearing for an additional Comprehensive Plan amendment to the former Oak Grove School location on Brice Prairie. Motion passed 6-0 (Fogel abstained). Motion to adjourn by Fogel/Wellik passed unanimously at 4:51 pm. Respectfully submitted Mary Rinehart
