Town Board — Minutes

Special Town Board Monday, August 3, 2026 Agenda 1. Call to order: Chairperson Przywojski called the meeting to order on August 3, 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Town of Onalaska Town, N5589 Commerce Road. Present were: Chairperson Paula Przywojski, Supervisors Emy Monroe, Betty DeBoer, Frank Fogel and Luke Marcou. Mary Rinehart was also present. 2. Discussion regarding hiring to fill town crew vacancy: Motion by DeBoer/Marcou to make offer of employment to identified candidate pending successful completion of preemployment screenings. Additional discussion included possible recruitment for a mechanic and budgetary (benefit) ramification. Motion passed 4-1 (Fogel). 3. Discussion relating to damaged park structure including but not limited to First Prairie Park slide: The company who manufactured the original slide no longer makes the unit. Additional research regarding a possible aftermarket slide will be completed. Tube replacement for the Roth Field play structure will be investigated. Information will be brought back to the board.
