Town Board — Minutes

Special Town Board Meeting January 23, 2026 Chairperson Przywojski called Town Board Meeting to order on January 23, 2026 at 8:15 am. at the Town of Onalaska, Town Hall, N5589 Commerce Road. Present: Chairperson Paula Przysojski, Supervisors Frank Fogel, Emy Monroe, Luke Marcou and Betty DeBoer (via zoom). Mary Rinehart was also present. Motion to approve agenda by Fogel/Monroe passed unanimously. Discussion relating to shared services fire study agreement with the Town of Holland, Village of Holmen, City of Onalaska, and the Town of Onalaska including but not limited to appropriation of funds: Motion by BD/EM that we participate and commit $5,000 toward the project and study and be willing to participate and cooperate in any other ways. Motion failed 0-5. Further discussion relative to pro’s and con’s of participation and wanting to be a good community neighbor. Motion by Monroe/Marcou to cooperate with the study if it moves forward, but not (participate) in any financial way. Motion passed unanimously. Discussion to amend the adopted 2026 town general fund budget: No action. Motion to adjourn by Fogel/Marcou passed unanimously at 9:31 am.
