Special Town Board Meeting Minutes – APPROVED Date: Tuesday, September 16, 2025 Time: 6:00 p.m. Location: 2800 Ward Ave, La Crosse, WI 54601 Present: Chairperson Tim Candahl, Supervisors Renee Knutson, Tim Padesky, Marlene Heal, and Tim Ehler; Administrator Christina Peterson, Treasurer Melissa Erdman, Clerk Fortune Berg, and Fire Chief Tony Holinka. Absent/Excused: <list if any> Attendance List: <enter attendees names and addresses> 1. Meeting called to order by Candahl at 6:04 p.m. 2. Public Comment. None. 3. Continuing Resolution (2025-8) Authorizing Purchase, Lease, and Disposition of Land and Real Property, and Construction, Lease and Purchase of Buildings . Peterson explained the resolution and the history of the authority given to the Town Board. Discussion on previous opportunities that the Town was unable to take advantage of because there was no designated authority. Motion by Padesky, to approve and sign Continuing Resolution 2025-8 Authorizing Purchase, Lease, and Disposition of Land and Real Property, and Construction, Lease and Purchase of Buildings, second by Knutson. Motion carried unanimously. 4. Adjournment. Motion by Ehler to adjourn at 6:12 p.m., second by Padesky. Motion carried unanimously.
