June 2026 Minutes

Amnicon Regular Meeting Amnicon Town Hall June 11, 2026 7:00pm Arthur Amys called the meeting to order. All board members present. Arthur Amys made a motion to approve May 14, 2026, regular meeting minutes, Dennis Hill seconded. Motion carried. Committees  Highway Building – No Report Highway Dept –Grading, Kris Hubrin has gravel available in Oakland. Discussion on quotes for a new grader. Will have a special meeting immediately prior to the regular town board meeting in July. Forestry - Bayfield Rd cut is done, last payment received Jeremy Moe driveway was tabled again due to no correspondence or meeting attendance. Highway Garage Bids. Only one bid was received from Coppercreek Construction. With all of the requested modifications, tabled until July to get a clarification on the total siding replacement to make sure the wainscoting was included. Proceed with National Bank of Commerce for the loan. Gary will discuss the grader with them also. Mark Liebaert made a motion to approve the contract with Michael Schnautz Assessor for next year’s assessments for $ 700 a month. Dennis Hill seconded. Motion carried. Arthur Amys made a motion to approve liquor, server and cigarette licenses for The Gravel Pit Tavern, The Grainary, Middle River Tavern, and Riverside Bar and Grill. Ant to allow the Clerk to issue any more servers licenses as needed. Mark Liebaert seconded. Motion carried. Douglas County –Mark Liebaert – 2.4 million over the levy for health insurance, the sheriff’s dept will be getting body cams, but no flow cameras Approved vouchers Dennis Hill moved to Adjourned 7:40 pm.
