Amnicon Regular Board Meeting Amnicon Town Hall SEPTEMBER 11, 2025 7:00pm Mark Liebaert called the meeting to order. All board members were present except Arthur Amys. Mark Liebaert made a motion to approve August 14, 2025, regular meeting minutes, Dennis Hill seconded. Motion carried. Committees- Nonactive Highway Dept – Mowing, ditching, hauling gravel, grading when wet enough. Poplar needs to replace 5 shared culverts; Tim will work with them to make sure they really need replaced. The culvert that crosses Golf Coarse Rd. on the east side needs replaced and we are wondering if that is ours or the counties. Forestry No Report Gerry Kroll – Joseph Hoadley fence issue. Gary will send a letter to the Hoadley’s with the state statues reminding them of their obligation. Douglas County –The county Administrator position is up for hire as the interim positions time has ended, they have 5 applicants for the position. The fairgrounds contract is up, and they are looking into have the same group manage both the fairgrounds and the racetrack. The house that was taken by tax title is still an issue. They are working on the budget, and it looks like they will have only a minimal raise to the levy. The lease is up for Bird Sanctuary, and they are planning on renewing it for another 25 years.
