Amnicon Regular Board Meeting Amnicon Town Hall MAY 8, 2025 7:00pm Arthur Amys called the meeting to order. All board members were present. Arthur Amys made a motion to approve April 10, 2025, regular meeting minutes, Dennis Hill seconded. Motion carried. Highway Dept – Borrowed a disc from Maple that hooks to grader blade to reclaim gravel from the shoulders seems to work well. Put lights on the pavilion. The beaver damn on Old 11 is back. Forestry No Report Carl Miller was present and is still having issues with the neighboring property owners to allow him access to his property. Their lawyers are at an impasse. Mark Liebaert will contact the lawyers and try to work out an agreement. Douglas County – They are appreciative of the use of our townhall for their administrator retreat. Still have positions open. County Road B culvert projects are starting to get the road ready for paving later in the summer. Gary has had several residences complaining about needing dust control. Unfortunately, it is an ongoing problem and there are no easy answers as the costs have skyrocketed recently and we have no funds to do this. Susan Amys presented a letter of resignation from the Custodian job. Will be effective in late June. We will try to find a replacement.
