January 2025 Minutes

Amnicon Regular Board Meeting Amnicon Town Hall January 9, 2025 7:00pm Arthur Amys called the meeting to order. All board members were present. Arthur Amys made a motion to approve December 12, 2024, regular meeting minutes, Dennis Hill seconded. Motion carried. Comprehensive Plan Committee – No Report Janet Blair resigned. Highway Dept – Been sanding ice, fixing equipment, Working in the town hall and is getting it ready for the floor project. Reminder the Town Caucus is on January 21st @ 5:30 pm Gary Kane has purchased a chair cart we will get rid of the old carts. Douglas County – Mark Liebaert, They are starting to receive the monies from the Opioid Settlement. Superior Days is coming up. The Health Department will be placing sharps container throughout the county locations have not been determined yet. Dave Sletten is being promoted to the County Administrator position, Aadam Olson will move up to head of the Fire and disaster side of Emergency Management.
