April business meeting minutes 04/08/2025 ● Called to order 19:30 ● Pledge of allegiance ● Last months minutes: Motion to accept made by E. Mack and seconded by A. Doller ● Treasurer's Report: TSFD checking account - $2,642.89 TSFD total assets: $2642.89 Motion to accept made by C. Mains and seconded by R. Olson ● Chief’s Report: 12/25 is a new timeframe for getting the new tanker. Light the night upcoming 4/27-5/4 to be added on the calendar, we shine RED lights on the fire hall to honor America’s fallen firefighters. April 27 th pancake breakfast from 8-12 at the town hall we will be setting up 4/26. Amber is currently in the Northwood Tech Fire inspector class. All turnout gear to be washed by our July meeting please. Spring fire season is here, please do not burn and follow DNR you can reference WIS burn to look up areas about burning specifications. Update on drone program initial members as drone operators will be getting training started in the next couple weeks. We cannot get it into service yet and almost finished completing that process. Drone needs to be insured and will draft up procedures and guidelines for dispatch on protocol on mutual aid calls and for drone use. ● Inspections: N/A ● Training: DNR refresher was tonight as trauma refresher upcoming ● Maintenance: Squad is ready for wildfire seasons, installed green radio in engine, the pump on UTV valve to hose reel is leaking (valve needs replacement) ● Fundraisers: Upcoming pancake breakfast for the auxiliary ● Call review: 18 calls, 1 car fire, 10 EMS, 2 MVC, 3 cancelled, 1 service, 1 alarm, 1 no response, 12 town, 2 Oliver, 0 parkland, 2 Oakland, 2 Summit ● New business: New member application for Jake, brought membership to a vote and motion to start him at probationary member.
