Meeting was properly noticed and agenda posted. Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Public comments : Discussion of Farmers market and forming a community committee put on Junes agenda. Discussion of adding second drive way approach at 305 W North St. more information needed. Motion by MBeaumont second by GDecker to approve April 14 , 202 6 board meeting minutes. MC Department of Public Works : Sewer operations – DNR inspection changes coming up Water operations – Quote for iron filter of $4165.00. Henry Talk to DNR don ’t need inspector If Henry feels comfortable in doing the inspection himself. Training/schooling – 6/3/26 in Tomah Maintenance Report – snickhole in street Kendall trucking coming to fix Thursday May 14 . Repair/Replace Village Hall Door with no bottom rail for handicap accessibility access. Finance: Payment of Bills Motion by GDecker second by KVian to pay bills. MC Motion by LHelgren second by NAlcantar to round cash payments to the nearest nickel. MC Motion by GDecker second by KVian to renew Ad in Visitor at cost of last year $350.00. MC Personnel: Library : next meeting, July 6 , 202 6 6 PM Library fund raiser/Bike Rodeo – May 31 st Summer Reading Program begin June 8. Garden Boxes donated ok ’d to put in library yard, with discussion with maintenance workers for mowing prepose . Building Permits & Licenses: Cancelled no paperwork turned in for work at 305 W North St. Cemetery, Parks & Recreation: Volleycourt area- look into sand and purchasing Rake , Broom and container for balls . Motion by NAlcantar second by KVian to purchase sand from Kendall Trucking if good sand at $250.00 per load. MC Motion by NAlcantar second by GDecker to purchase 2 Soccer Nets from Wayfair. MC Streets, Sidewalks, Etc.: . Motion by GDecker seconded by NAlcantar to approve Resolution 2026-1 Endorse Fair Housing Principles. MC Put on June agenda discussion of Possible loans for Street project with results of Sewer Rate Study that was done. Municipal Court: Public Safety: Police Report – Ad Hoc /Emergency Management : Farmers Market updates put on June agenda New Name for Committee – Community Action and Events Update Thrive Rural Wisconsin – Design Wisconsin meeting May 19 and May 28 th all Virtual. August meeting needs to be changed election is on August 11, 2026 – Discussed August 4 as new meeting Date. Put on July agenda.
