Town of Martell Board of Review Meeting Minutes November 18th, 2025 at 5 PM at the Town Hall located at W5581 800 th Avenue, Spring Valley, WI 54767 1. Call to Order : Chairman Brathol called the meeting to order at 5:01 2. Roll Call: Brathol, Kidd, Kaminski, Garlick, Boles all present 3. The board selected Brathol to be Chair and Kidd to be Vice-Chair 4. Verification of Public Notice: Revaluation year requires 30 days in advance, Noticed on October 15th, Affidavit on file 5. V erify the meeting date is a minimum of seven days after the assessment roll was open for examination under Wis. Stats. sec. 70.45 (Wis. Stats. sec. 70.47(1)): Confirmed that the meeting date is 8 days after the open book was opened for review, on November 10th. 5. Verify that at least one member has met the training requirements under state law (Wis. Stats. sec. 70.46(4)) : Affidavit of Training is on file, all board members received training in 2025. 6. Verify the municipality has an ordinance for the confidentiality of income and expense information provided to the assessor under state law (Wis. Stats. sec. 70.47(7)(af)): Verified on file Ordinance 2016-03 8. Receive the assessment roll and sworn statements from the Clerk: Assessment roll received. No sworn statements received 9. Examine the roll, correct description or calculation errors, add omitted property, and eliminate double-assessed property: Confirmed all errors have been corrected to the best of clerk’s knowledge. Certify all corrections of error under state law (Wis. Stats. sec. 70.43): Clerk certified. 10. Verify with the Assessor that Open Book changes are included in the assessment roll: Assessor Garlick confirmed all changes from Open Book have been entered. 11. Hear Objections: No objections filed. 12. Adjourn: Chairman Brathol: Hearing no objections the BoR is adjourned for 2025 at 7:03 PM
