TOWN OF MARTELL TOWN BOARD BUDGET WORKSHOP MINUTES A budget workshop meeting for the Board of Town of Martell was held on Wednesday, October 15th, 2025 at 5:30 PM at the Town Hall, W5581 800th Avenue, Spring Valley, WI. 1. Chairman Brathol called the meeting to order at 5:36 2. Roll Call: all Board members were present 1. Verification of Public Notice: verified by Chairman Brathol, affidavit on file 2. Kaminski made a motion to approve the agenda, Kidd 2nd, all in favor, motion carries 3. Discuss 2025 budget amendments, Draft of Resolution to Amend the Budget: Discussion around the recommended amendments. The Board recognizes that the budget amendment would happen after the elector meeting to approve the 2026 budget and will clarify the differences in those budgets at that meeting. 4. Discuss 2026 budget recommendations, Draft of 2026 Budget, Draft of Budget posting Discussion around how to reduce expenditures in order to balance the budget. Robin will send out fixed drafts by Thursday afternoon. 5. Pull amended budget from the budget posting. 6. Draft agenda for Public Budget Hearing on Tuesday, November 11th, 7. Kaminski made a motion to adjourn, Brathol 2nd, all in favor.
