Future Meeting Date and Agenda items 6. Adjourn Notes and Best Practices: • Meeting agendas must be kept permanently as public records and are required for every meeting of a town group or committee. • Please submit agendas to Sarah a MINIMUM of 48 hours before your meeting. She needs to get them posted on the website and town hall kiosk. • You cannot make decisions about or discuss topics that are not listed on your agenda. • Public Comments and requests are not required to include but if you aren’t going to accept them, they should not be listed on your agenda. • A meeting notice must be "reasonably likely to apprise members of the public" about what is going to be discussed at the meeting. Wis. Stat. § 19.84(2). Topics like “new business” are not clear enough.
