NOTICE OF THE PUBLIC BUDGET HEARING for the TOWN OF MERCER, IRON COUNTY Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 6pm, a PUBLIC HEARING on the PROPOSED 2027 BUDGET of the Town of Mercer, will be held at the Mercer Community Center 2648 Margaret Street, Mercer WI. 1. Presentation of proposed budget f. Adjourn SPECIAL TOWN MEETING of the ELECTORS Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday October 13th 2026, immediately following the completion of the Public Hearing on the proposed Year 2027 budget, which begins at 6 pm at the Mercer Community Center, a SPECIAL TOWN MEETING of the ELECTORS will be called to order pursuant to Sec. 66.0602(5) of the Wis. Stats. by the Town Board for the following purpose: 1. Discuss and possibly act on removal/reduction in pay for Supervisors and Chairman starting in election of April of 2027 2. To approve Resolution by Town Electors to Endorse the Town Board’s Resolution to Exceed the Allowable Levy Limit by $300,000 per year for 10 years for capital equipment and infrastructure for 10 years. 3.
