Iron County Board of Health Meeting Minutes Date: Tuesday, April 7, 2026 Time: 6:00pm Place: Iron County Health Department, 210 5th Ave N., Hurley, WI 54534 1. The meeting was called to order at 6:00pm by Karen Lauer. Roll Call taken. Present: Dr. James Rocco, Jamey Francis, Karen Lauer, Dr. Paul Hagemann, Zona Wick, Paul Mullard. Absent: Dr. Paul Hagemann, Tanner Hiller. Also Present: Melissa Geach, Doug Muskett, Chris Colassaco, Denise Lotzer, Melissa DeCarlo. 2. Melissa Geach acknowledged that the meeting was properly posted. 3. Zona Wick made a motion to approve the agenda as presented, seconded by Paul Mullard. All ayes. Motion carried. 4. Public Comment: None. 5. Motion by Dr. Rocco to order the cleanup of garbage on the property and revoke license to operate Silver Street Motel, seconded by Zona Wick. This revocation is the result of ongoing violations that remained uncorrected despite prior notices, temporary closure orders, and the opportunity provided during the appeal hearing to present information and address the findings. 6. All ayes. None opposed. Motion carried. 7. Adjourned at 6:27pm following completion of all agenda items.
