Sanitary District #1 — Minutes

Town of Dodgeville Sanitary District #1 Board of Commissioners Tuesday, July 7th, 2026 *Immediately following the Town Board Meeting* 1) Call to order. Town Chairman, Curt Peterson called the meeting to order at 7:50 p.m. Town Supervisors in attendance were: Kyle Levetzow and Peter Vanderloo. Absent were: David Pope and Pam Johnson-Loy. Also in attendance were: Clerk/Treasurer Sara Olson, Brandon Turner, Melissa Watson and Kevin Zajicek. 2) Approval of Public Notice/Agenda. Supervisor, Kyle Levetzow made a motion to approve the public notice and agenda seconded by Supervisor Peter Vanderloo. Motion carried. 3) Comments from the public. None. 4) Approval of the meeting minutes for June 15th, 2026. Peter Vanderloo made a motion to approve the June 15th, 2026 meeting minutes as presented. Kyle Levetzow seconded the motion. Motion carried. 5) Discussion & possible action re: Wood Violet Recovery Sewer Allocation/Expansion Request. Brandon Turner from Wood Violet Recovery LLC presented information in regards to possibly expanding the facility to add 30 more beds and clinical offices. The Town Board and Wood Violet Recovery discussed the existing sewer allocation and the need for additional allocation if the facility is expanded. The Town Board indicated that they would need to obtain further information from the City of Dodgeville in regards to what options are available. No action was taken. 6) Discussion & possible action re: Refinancing Existing Loan & Borrowing for Lift Station Repairs. Kyle Levetzow made a motion to refinance the existing loan and to borrow up to $75,000.00 which includes the refinanced balance with a 4.56% interest rate and a term of 7-years. Peter Vanderloo seconded the motion. Motion carried. 7) Adjournment. Kyle Levetzow made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 8:34 p.m. Peter Vamderloo seconded the motion. Motion carried.
