Town of Dodgeville Plan Commission Meeting Monday, February 23rd, 2026 The Town of Dodgeville Plan Commission met on Monday, February 23rd, 2026 at 6:05 P.M. Planning Commission Chair Krista Dolan called the Planning Commission meeting to order at 6:05 P.M. Planning Commission Committee members in attendance were: Curt Peterson, Peter Vanderloo, Julie Dolan, Krista Dolan and Kathryn Mosley. Absent were: John Dunbar and Paul Lawinger. Others in attendance were: Nancy Anderson. Planning Commission Chair Krista Dolan verified that proper notice of the public hearing was posted on February 10th, 2026 in accordance with WI Statutes 19.84 (3) at the Town Message Boards at Pleasant Ridge Store, Mueller Implement and the Town Office. Kathryn Mosley made a motion to approve the public notice and agenda. Julie Dolan seconded the motion. Motion carried. Curt Peterson made a motion to approve the December 29th, 2025 meeting minutes as presented. Kathryn Mosley seconded the motion. Motion carried. The conditional use application of Nancy Anderson for the purpose of operating a recreational residential rental on a 9.25 acre parcel zoned AR-1 located in part of the SE ¼ of the SE ¼ of Section 11, Town 6 North, Range 3 East, Lot 2 CSM 552 at 3911 County Road Z. Clerk/Treasurer Sara Olson presented the application, correspondence in regards to the definition of a recreational residential rental and the standards that apply from Iowa County Planning & Development. The Planning Commission members discussed the presented information and received additional information from Nancy Anderson. Peter Vanderloo made a motion to recommend the conditional use application of Nancy Anderson for the purpose of operating a recreational residential rental on a 9.25 acre parcel zoned AR-1 located in part of the SE ¼ of the SE ¼ of Section 11, Town 6 North, Range 3 East, Lot 2 CSM 552 at 3911 County Road Z. Curt Peterson seconded the motion. Motion carried. Planning Commission member Curt Peterson indicated that Iowa County is currently working on creating a data center and battery energy storage system development moratorium.
