Town of Dodgeville Plan Commission Meeting Monday, September 29th, 2025 The Town of Dodgeville Plan Commission met on Monday, September 29th, 2025 at 6:01 P.M. Planning Commission Chair Krista Dolan called the Planning Commission meeting to order at 6:01 P.M. Plan Commission Committee members in attendance were Curt Peterson, Peter Vanderloo, Julie Dolan, John Dunbar and Kathryn Mosley. Absent was Paul Lawinger. Others in attendance were: Brenda Gasch-Mittelstadt, Tom Gleichauf, Carol Gleichauf, Gene Dougherty and Elizabeth Bothfield. Planning Commission Chair Krista Dolan verified that proper notice of the public hearing was posted on September 16th, 2025 in accordance with WI Statutes 19.84 (3) at the Town Message Boards at Pleasant Ridge Store, Mueller Implement and the Town Office. Curt Peterson made a motion to approve the public notice and agenda. Peter Vanderloo seconded the motion. Motion carried. Curt Peterson made a motion to approve August 25th, 2025 meeting minutes as presented. John Dunbar seconded the motion. Motion carried. The rezoning application of Eugene Dougherty & Angela Forseth to rezone 2 to 2.5 acres from A-1 Ag to AR-1 located in the E ½ of the SE ¼ of the NW ¼ of Section 1, Town 6 North, Range 2 East located off of Rohowetz Road (Vacant Land). Clerk/Treasurer Sara Olson presented the rezoning application and maps. The Planning Commission discussed the application. A neighboring property owner expressed concerns in regards to the proposed driveway/easement location. Curt Peterson made a motion to recommend the approval of the rezoning application of Eugene Dougherty & Angela Forseth to rezone 2 to 2.5 acres from A-1 Ag to AR-1 located in the E ½ of the SE ¼ of the NW ¼ of Section 1, Town 6 North, Range 2 East located off of Rohowetz Road contingent on the Town Board approving a variance for the proposed easement unless relocated. Kathryn Mosely seconded the motion. Motion carried. There were no other correspondence and other matters.
