February 5, 2025 Town of Dewey Board Meeting Note: These are the proposed Minutes that will be approved at the next Board meeting. ___________________________________________________________________________ Minutes Wednesday, February 5, 2025 430 Dewey Drive-Stevens Point WI 54482 Call to Order: The meeting was called to order by Chairman King at 6:30 pm. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Verify Open Meeting Notice & Roll Call: Open meeting notice was verified. Chairman Maurice King, Supervisor Dennis Hintz, Supervisor LeRoy Pukrop, Clerk Angela Lochinger, and Treasurer Lori Kolodziej were present. 2 town residents and/or visitors were present. Review of Town Insurance Coverage: Victor Magnus, the town’s agent from Rural Mutual Insurance Company, attended the meeting to present a summary of the town’s insurance coverage. He reviewed the current policy and provided proposed updates to coverages and premiums. The last review was conducted in 2021. Discussion on the town garage’s septic system: Chairman King reported issues with the septic system, noting that the holding tank recently filled up within a week. He suspects a possible crack. The town board discussed possible options to fix the leak. Adjournment: Chairman King adjourned the meeting at 7:27 pm.
