Park & Recreation Committee — Minutes

Village of Linden Park & Recreation Minutes March 6, 2026 Call to order at 4:33 pm Larry Schultz, Bob Spurley, Jason Cartwright, and Mike Silvers were present We discussed the new park sign - Jason stated that he will have the designs for approval for the next board meeting. Bob and Mike touched base on getting new sponsors for the ballfield fence. Discussion about the status of the expansion of the parking lot. The tree will be removed completely in the next couple of months, and the roots be ground. We also discussed that there is a need of a light pole to be removed. Larry will be getting a quote for the cost of the base layer and top gravel.  The committee discussed the concession stand coordinator position and will continue to follow up on some leads. Also, we disused selling alcohol at the non-school park events; the committee was in favor of moving in that direction.    Motion by Jason and seconded by Mike to close at 5:11 pm
