Town of Exeter Regular Board Meeting Monday, October 13, 2025 – 7:00PM Ted Fahey, Mark Gundlach, Kent Brauer, and Clerk Sass were present. Town members: Dale Gutman and Burt Boldebuck. Notice legally posted. Minutes: The minutes from September 8, 2025, Special Meeting were presented. Motion to approve September 8, 2025, Special Meeting minutes (MG/KB), all in favor, approved. The minutes from September 8, 2025, Regular Board Meeting were presented. Motion to approve September 8, 2025, Regular Board Meeting minutes (MG/KB), all in favor, approved. Treasurer Report: Dawn summarizes balance as of September 30, 2025, $218,589.94. Money Market funds gained $484.14 in interest. The balance is now $125,703.99. Motion to approve treasurer report (MG/KB), all in favor, approved. Announcements: Free electronic recycling October 13 -17 at the Green County Landfill. A man dropped off information about the online auction service he works for. No charge for a municipality to sell equipment on the site. Supervisor report: Ted – EMS meeting tomorrow night. Belleville will be contracting to New Glarus Village to provide EMS services – contract was approved at a special meeting. Brooklyn has an extra ambulance that they were planning on selling but would sell to Belleville for somewhere around $60,000.00. Belleville will operate the ambulance out of the New Glarus Fire Station and staffed 24/7. Mark – none. Kent – none. Citizen Input: None. Committee Reports: Mark – Chad from highway thinks next week the asphalt will be laid at the park for the pickleball court. Car Shows netted $2,994.00 from food sales and $1,404.00 from 50/50 raffle/grill/donations. JSD was at last park meeting to talk about the erosion on the riverbank. Kent – checked the lights on the tree, only one strand lite up, wires are frayed. Unfinished: • Re-Valuation and Maintenance Contract with Bruce Gardiner Appraisal Service – mid cycle re-valuation for a cost of $13,100.00. Last re-valuation averaged 47% increase in your home value. Motion to have Bruce Gardiner Appraisal Service begin the re-valuation (MG/KB), all in favor, approved. Motion to approve the annual maintenance contract with Bruce Gardiner Appraisal Service (MG/KB), all in favor, approved. New Business: • New Glarus EMS Contract – Ted suggests we rescind the contract that would begin Jan. 1, 2026. Burt thinks we should ask Belleville what the cost is for the three additional sections. Motion to terminate EMS contract with New Glarus (MG/KB), all in favor, approved. • Appoint board member to represent New Glarus ETZ – Motion to appoint Ted Fahey to the ETZ (KB/MG), all in favor, approved. • Budget Workshop – Wed. 10/22 at 8:00AM • Bills – Motion to pay the bills (MG/KB), all in favor, approved.
