Town Board — Minutes

Town of Exeter Special Board Meeting Monday, December 9, 2024 – 6:35PM Ted Fahey, Mark Gundlach, Kent Brauer, and Clerk Sass were present. Town Members: Burt Boldebuck Notice Legally Posted. New Business: Purchase and financing of new fire truck, ambulance, and EMS chase vehicle. Estimated payment $401,387.00. Burt – how is the percentage decided? Belleville about 40%, Exeter about 36%, Montrose about 14% with a small percentage from two other municipalities. We would not be borrowing until mid/late 2025. Resolution #R-24-12-09 to authorize the town board to borrow up to $410,000.00 for fire truck, ambulance and EMS chase vehicle (NON- EXPIRING), Burt Boldebuck makes a motion to pass resolution #R-24- 12-09, second by Mark Gundlach, 4 yes votes, 0 no votes, 0 abstain, resolution passes.
