Town Board — Minutes

Town of Exeter Regular Board Meeting Monday, November 11, 2024 – 7:00PM Ted Fahey, Mark Gundlach, Kent Brauer, and Clerk Sass were present. Town members: Siegfried Eckhardt (Siggy), Burt Boldebuck, and Chris Backes Notice legally posted. Minutes: The minutes from October 14, 2024, regular meeting presented. Motion to approve October 14, 2024, regular meeting minutes (MG/KB), all in favor, approved. Treasurer Report: Dawn summarizes balance as of October 31, 2024: $260,422.64. ARPA funds gained $538.45 in interest. The balance is now $120,071.24. Motion to approve treasurer report (MG/KB), all in favor, approved. Announcements: Election 11/5 – highly successful, 77 new registrations, 1470 people voted – about 91.3% turnout. Supervisor report: Ted – nothing new to report this month. Mark – nothing new to report this month. Kent – nothing new to report this month. Citizen Input: Siggy – no updates on broadband in Exeter. Committee Reports: Mark – park committee meeting tomorrow, 11/12. They want to put a Christmas tree in the shelter and other decorations in the park. Kent – nothing to report on the Belleville Senior Center. Unfinished: None. New Business: • Public Budget Hearing – Monday, November 18, 2024, at 7:00PM. • Website contract – upgrades to website and three-year contract. • New toilets/faucets for both restrooms. • Bills – Motion to pay bills (MG/KB), all in favor, approved.
