Call to Order - Chair Narveson called the meeting to order at 05:34 pm. 2. Proof of Posting - Clerk Darla Kramer attested to the Proof of Posting on 07-09-2026 at the Town Garage, the Bank of New Glarus, and the New Glarus Post Office. Posted to the website on 07-09-2026. 3. Neighbors questioned whether this Land Division would result in the quarry being reopened. It was explained that this is a non-residential land division, meaning that residential dwellings are not permitted on the property. Under the ordinance, landowners who owned 40 acres or more at the time the ordinance was adopted in October 1997 must maintain at least 85% of the property as open space when developing the land. Simply put, this allows for no more than three residential lots per 40 acres. Therefore, this property is being divided and sold as “open space.” Agricultural activities are permitted within the open-space area; however, residential dwellings are not allowed. An agricultural building may be permitted on the parcel, but shipping containers will not be allowed on the property. 4. Adjournment - Motion made by Supervisor Pernitz to adjourn the meeting. Seconded by Supervisor Streiff. All were in favor. The meeting adjourned at 5:46 p.m. Submitted by: Darla Kramer, Clerk Treasurer 09-09-2026 Approved
