December 11, 2024 Town of Dewey Board Meeting Note: These are the proposed Minutes that will be approved at the next Board meeting. ___________________________________________________________________________ Minutes Wednesday, December 11, 2024 430 Dewey Drive-Stevens Point WI 54482 Call to Order: The meeting was called to order by Chairman King at 6:30 pm, and the Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Verify Open Meeting Notice & Roll Call: The open meeting notice was verified. Present were Chairman Maurice King, Supervisors Dennis Hintz and LeRoy Pukrop, Clerk Angela Lochinger, Fire Chief Brian Lepper, Portage County Deputy Emergency Management Coordinator Bonnie Skalecke, Plan Commission member Sandy Meis, and town resident Dennis Meis. Review updates to the Town of Dewey’s portion of the Portage County All-Hazards Mitigation Plan: Town board members, the clerk, the fire chief, Portage County Emergency Management, a Plan Commission member, and a resident collaborated to review updates and complete the Town of Dewey’s portion of the Portage County All-Hazards Mitigation Plan. Town of Dewey’s portion of the Portage County All-Hazards Mitigation Plan to be forwarded to the County: Supervisor Pukrop motioned to approve the Town of Dewey’s portion of the Portage County All-Hazards Mitigation Plan to be forwarded to the County. Clerk Lochinger seconded. The motion passed 8-0. Adjournment: Chairman King adjourned the meeting at 7:14 pm.
