Town Board Meeting — Minutes

August 12th Agenda Town of Hiles Board Meeting Wednesday August 12th, 2026 Hiles Town Hall, Wood County Chairman Bargender called the meeting to order at 6:00pm. Present were: Chairman Rebecca Bargender, Supervisor Jeff Costigan, Supervisor Mark Gudel, Treasurer Soraya Krostag, and Clerk Cassandra Pio-Stoflet Other: The minutes of the Wednesday July 8th 2026Town Board meeting were presented. Moved by Supervisor Jeff Costigan and seconded by Supervisor Mark Gudel to accept the minutes as presented. Motion carried. The Treasurer’s report for March was presented. Moved by Supervisor Mark Gudel and seconded by Supervisor Jeff Costigan to approve as presented. Motion carried.  Pittsville Fire Department completed inspection of town hall August 11th. One exit sign needs maintenance, fire extinguisher needs to be brought to Pittsville Fire Department for testing.  Towns Association talking points regarding quarry Correspondence: The bills were presented for payment. Moved by Supervisor Mark Gudel and seconded by Supervisor Jeff Costigan to make all payments as presented. Motion carried. Next Town of Hiles Board Meeting will be September 16th at 5:30, directly followed by the Board of Review. Moved by Supervisor Mark Gudel and seconded by Supervisor Jeff Costigan to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried.
