Town Board Meeting — Minutes

July 8th Minutes Town of Hiles Board Meeting Wednesday July 8th, 2026 Hiles Town Hall, Wood County Chairman Bargender called the meeting to order at 6:00pm. Present were: Chairman Rebecca Bargender, Supervisor Jeff Costigan, Supervisor Mark Gudel, Treasurer Soraya Krostag, and Clerk Cassandra Pio-Stoflet Other: The minutes of the Wednesday June 17th 2026Town Board meeting were presented. Moved by Supervisor Mark Gudel and seconded by Supervisor Jeff Costiganto accept the minutes as presented. Motion carried. The Treasurer’s report for March was presented. Moved by Supervisor Jeff Costigan and seconded by Supervisor Mark Gudel to approve as presented. Motion carried.  Next Election is August 11th. Public test will be at 10:00 am August 10th. Election workers Grace Tester and Maddy Gudel approved.  Board of Review scheduled for September 16th.  Ivy Dow acquisition remains on the agenda as unresolved. Treasurer has contacted DoT regarding survey without resolution.  Town Clerk will complete Board of Review training this month.  Road Crack Filling: Fahrner expected to complete inspection of roads per May road inspection alonh with town hall parking lot this week and provide proposal  Cary Hiles Rd Culvert replacement – wood county hwy dept to provide proposal Correspondence: The bills were presented for payment. Moved by Supervisor Mark Gudel and seconded by Supervisor Jeff Costigan to make all payments as presented. Motion carried. Next Town of Hiles Board Meeting will be September 18th at 5:30. Moved by Supervisor Jeff Costigan and seconded by Supervisor Mark Gudel to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried.
