Town Board Meeting — Minutes

March 2026 Agenda Town of Hiles Board Meeting Wednesday, March 4th 2026 Hiles Town Hall, Wood County Chairman Bargender called the meeting to order at 5:58pm. Present were: Chairman Rebecca Bargender, Supervisor Jeff Costigan, Supervisor Mark Gudel, Treasurer Soraya Krostag, and Clerk Cassandra Pio-Stoflet Other: The minutes of the Wednesday, February 11th 2026 Hiles Town Board meeting were presented. Moved by Supervisor Mark Gudel and seconded by Supervisor Jeff Costigan to accept the minutes as presented. Motion carried. The Treasurer’s report for March was presented. Moved by Supervisor Jeff Costigan and seconded by Supervisor Mark Gudel to approve as presented. Motion carried.  Circuit Court Judge Candidate Elizabeth Gebert presents campaign  Next Election is Tuesday, April 7th. o Poll workers Grace Tester and Maddy Gudel  Road inspection scheduled for May 9th, 2026  Hiles is hosting the Wood County Towns Association meeting on August 21st at Pittsville Town Hall o Paulies or The Market to cater Correspondence:  Chief inspector and Clerk will attend elections trainings March 25th or 28th  Town Hall is booked for private parties April 4th, April 11th The bills were presented for payment. Moved by Supervisor Rebecca Bargender and seconded by Supervisor Mark Gudel to make all payments as presented. Motion carried. Next Town of Hiles Board Meeting will be Tuesday, April 21st @ 6pm Moved by Supervisor Mark Gudel and seconded by Supervisor Jeff Costigan to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried.
