UNOFFICIAL MINUTES Town of Hiles Board Meeting Wednesday, November 1, 2023 Hiles Town Hall, Wood County Chairman Gardner called the meeting to order at 6:05pm. Present were: Chairman Tom Gardner, Supervisor Mark Gudel, Treasure Soraya Krostag and Clerk Kimm Wojtalewicz. Absent- Supervisor Jeff Costigan Other: Tim Miller-Waste Management and Azizah Tester The minutes of the Wednesday, October 4, 2023 Hiles Town Board meeting were presented. Moved by Supervisor Gudel and seconded by Chairman Gardner to accept the minutes as presented. Motion carried. The Treasurer’s report for September was presented. Moved by Supervisor Gudel and seconded by Chairman Gardner to approve as presented. Motion carried. • Roads- o Supervisor Gardner discussed flooding during October storms. No damage • Trash- o Timm Miller presented new contract for Waste Management. Pricing would be going up from 11.40 per can a month to 16.05 per can a month. He explained there would be no more service fee for high diesel prices unless diesel went above $5 per gallon. Chairman Gardner motioned for approval. Supervisor Gudel moved and was seconded by Chairman Gardner. Correspondence: Budget hearing meeting was set for November 29, 2023 The bills were presented for payment. Moved by Supervisor Gudel and seconded by Chairman Gardner to make all payments as presented. Motion carried. Next Town of Hiles Board Meeting will be Wednesday, November 29, 2023 following Budget meeting. Moved by Supervisor Gudel and seconded by Chairman Gardner to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried.
