UNOFFICIAL MINUTES Town of Hiles Board Meeting Wednesday, August 9, 2023 Hiles Town Hall, Wood County Chairman Gardner called the meeting to order at 6:05pm. Present were: Chairman Tom Gardner, Supervisor Mark Gudel, Treasure Soraya Krostag and Clerk Kimm Wojtalewicz. Absent was: Supervisor Jeff Costigan Other: None The minutes of the Wednesday, July 12, 2023 Hiles Town Board meeting were presented. Moved by Supervisor Gudel and seconded by Chairman Gardner to accept the minutes as presented. Motion carried. The Treasurer’s report for September was presented. Moved by Supervisor Gudel and seconded by Chairman Gardner to approve as presented. Motion carried. • Roads- The County started on Koppen. Should be done by end of the month beginning of September Paving. • Election equipment was being updated. Clerk dropped off at Courthouse in Wisconsin Rapids and had to pick it up in a week. Correspondence: • Pricing on Market Drive will be going up .60 per parcel. Jerry will have to upgrade in Feb with new program state no longer allows old program that was being used. Going up to $800.00 a year from 330.00 per year. The bills were presented for payment. Moved by Supervisor Gudel and seconded by Chairman Gardner to make all payments as presented. Motion carried. Next Town of Hiles Board Meeting will be Wednesday, September 13, 2023 @ 6pm Moved by Supervisor Gudel and seconded by Chairman Gardner to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried.
