September 11, 2024 Town of Dewey Board Meeting Note: These are the proposed Minutes that will be approved at the next Board meeting. ___________________________________________________________________________ Minutes Wednesday, September 11, 2024 430 Dewey Drive-Stevens Point WI 54482 Call to Order: The meeting was called to order by Chairman King at 6:30 pm. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited, followed by a moment of silence in honor of 9/11. Verify Open Meeting Notice & Roll Call: The open meeting notice was verified. Present were Chairman Maurice King, Supervisors Dennis Hintz and LeRoy Pukrop, and Clerk Angela Lochinger. Also attending were Fire Chief Brian Lepper, Plan Commission members Sandy Meis and Doug Evica, and town resident Dennis Meis. Continue to work on the Town of Dewey’s portion of the Portage County All-Hazards Mitigation Plan: Town board members—Chairman Maurice King, Supervisor Dennis Hintz, and Supervisor LeRoy Pukrop—along with Clerk Angela Lochinger, Fire Chief Brian Lepper, Plan Commission members Sandy Meis and Doug Evica, and town resident Dennis Meis, continued working on the Town of Dewey’s portion of the Portage County All-Hazards Mitigation Plan. They will meet at least once more to complete the plan for submission to the county. Adjournment: Chairman King adjourned the meeting at 8:00 pm.
