Town of Manitowoc Board of Review Meeting Minutes Date: May 21, 2026 Time: 3:00 PM Location: Town Hall / Silver Creek Fire Station 1. Call to Order Chairman Jeff Blahnik called the Town of Manitowoc Board of Review Meeting to order at 3:00 PM. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. 2. Roll Call Present: • Jeff Blahnik, Chairman • Geraldine Gilbert, Town Clerk (via telephone) • Kristen Schmidt, Deputy Clerk/Treasurer • Cody Thiel, Supervisor • Rae Ann Schmitz, Assessor 3. Board of Review Training Requirements Chairman Jeff Blahnik, Town Clerk Geraldine Gilbert, and Deputy Clerk Kristen Schmidt completed the mandatory Board of Review training requirements as required by Wisconsin law. 4. Assessor's Report The Town of Manitowoc provided the Assessor with the required income and expense information. The Board reviewed the Annual Assessment Report presented by Assessor Rae Ann Schmitz. 5. Testimony and Objections The Board received no requests for telephone testimony and no sworn written testimony. The Board remained open for the required two-hour session. No property owners appeared before the Board to file objections or provide testimony. 6. Adjournment Motion by Supervisor Cody Thiel, seconded by Chairman Jeff Blahnik, to adjourn the Board of Review Meeting. Motion carried unanimously.
