AGENDA FOR TOWN OF MANITOWOC March 10, 2024 Call to order Pledge of Allegiance Roll Call Approval of the Agenda Approval of last month’s meeting minutes. Public comments or concerns – Mike Mecca - driveway Financial Report – review and sign Old Business Roads – I contacted the County regarding the complaint regarding no T-intersection or sign at the intersection of Jenny Road and Cimarron Court. Temporary sign will be put in place. E-mail sent to the City Engineer opposing open cutting of Jenny Road, unless the City agrees to resurface the road no less then two years from now. IT Update – Onboarding meeting took place on March 3. Jeri and I were involved. Watermain update – Correspondence – New Business Permits – Election – Final election will be April 1st. Correspondence – Letter from Calumet County regarding painting lines on our roads. They need info by March 14. Letter forwarded to Cody to coordinate. Bill from Manitowoc County for snow plowing and pothole filling from January. Roughly $2450. 2-26-25 – Call from Scott Schuette, 2324 Primrose, stating his culvert was frozen shut and requesting the County open it. Request someone from the City to speak at the Annual Town Meeting regarding the watermain and future plans for expansion. Call from the County stating the culvert at 3805 South 26th was plugged and is backing up. Twenty feet from house and it is supposed to rain tomorrow. Requested permission to steam it open. I granted permission to do so. Constables report Supervisors closing comments. Clerk/Treasurer closing comments. Coming month agenda and items of interest – March 20, WTA Meeting in K-City Pub, Kellnersville. March 22 WTA meeting at Farmer Discovery Center, BOR training. Wisconsin Asphalt Pavement Association – Tiber Rattlers Stadium, April 14, at 12:30 PM – 4:00 PM. Spring Road School, April 21 – 23 at Chula Vista. Next meeting will be April 14, 7:00 PM.
