AGENDA FOR TOWN OF MANITOWOC Budget Meeting December 2, 2024 Call to order Pledge of Allegiance Roll Call Approval of the Agenda Approval of last month’s meeting minutes. Public comments or concerns – Valerie Oconner from Glacierland on phragmites presentation. Financial Report – review and sign Old Business Roads – updates on WISLR ratings, road striping and shouldering. IT plan updates. Spoke with Town Web group. They will be sending a quote to host our website, design our website, and host our e-mail addresses. They would transfer from the current domain. Contacted Sprinter to get an e-mail quote for five addresses. Correspondence – Letter from the County Board of Adjustment referencing a meeting for the Gulseth property rezoning. E-mail from the Town Attorney Michael Bauer finalizing the City of Manitowoc and the Towns of Newton and Manitowoc regarding the watermain agreement. New Business Permits Budget for 2025 – Meeting held prior to this one. Election – Nomination paperwork is due so your name can be placed on the Feb. ballot. Correspondence – Transmitted a letter to PSCW regarding docketed case 3320-CW-116, the watermain within the Townships of Manitowoc and Newton. Bill from Manitowoc County for crack filling. Roughly $8,400. Bill was forwarded to the Clerk/Treasurer. E-mail on 11-26-24 from the City of Manitowoc regarding a pre-construction meeting for the watermain. Meeting is 10:00 AM on December 11, at City Hall. EMS Agreement with the City - Discuss and sign the Ambulance Service Agreement from the City of Manitowoc. Constables report Supervisors closing comments. Clerk/Treasurer closing comments. Coming month agenda and items of interest – WTA Christmas Party – December 5, K-City Pub in Kellnersville. Next meeting will be January 13, 7:00 PM. On going projects. • Culvert between 15th and 19th Who is responsible for maintenance of this waterway? • Comprehensive Road Improvement plan. Plans for our 13 miles of Town Road. • Water main – What are the cities plans. How do they affect our residents. • New agreement with Newton regarding South 26th Street maintenance. • Right of Way permits. What other Towns are doing to ensure they are being issued, and work being done is inspected. • IT Project – DNS domain, website, e-mail addresses.
