The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM on May 28, 2025 at the Town of Cooperstown Hall
by Chairman David Blakeslee.

In attendance were Chairman David Blakeslee, Secretary/Member Susan Kornely, Members:
David Blakeslee and Nicholas Propson. Pat Hickey and Pam Kouba were excused. Others in
attendance: Andrew and Abigail Wiltman, Kelly Kane, Ryan Umentum
Citizen input: Andrew Wiltman stated he and his family want to move to the country, create a
small parcel for a home and leave the rest for agriculture. Nick Propson suggested a 10-acre GA
parcel so the land could not be sub-divided later into smaller parcels, Ryan Umentum stated he
likes to keep the area mostly agricultural with a home was fine.
The Plan Commission met at 6:30 for an onsite review of parcel 003-008-010-000.00 at 17001
Herold Rd, Denmark, WI 54208. The members present viewed the site for the requested new
home location and the 2.5 acres.
The Plan Commission reviewed the rezone request of Adrew and Abigail Wiltman, dated
4/29/2025. The existing property located at 17001 Herold Rd, Denmark, is currently zoned EA
(Exclusive Ag) with a parcel of 40 acres. The petitioner is asking to rezone 2.5 acres of the
property to SE (Small Estate), with the intension of building a new home. The committee worked
through the Town of Cooperstown Planning Commissions Rezone Consideration worksheet as
part of the regular review procedure. The Plan Commission discussed with the resident different
options: 10 acres GA parcel, splitting the parcel into 2-20 acres parcels keeping it EA. Pam
Kouba arrived about 7:10. It was suggested to Andrew Wiltman that he contact the county
Planning and Zoning office for additional information on having a survey to split the 40 acre EA
into 2-20 acres parcel EA. Letters were sent to adjacent landowners for comments or concerns.
No letters received from adjacent landowners. After discussion, the Plan Commission
determined no action needed to be taken at this time.
On a motion by Nick Propson and seconded by David Blakeslee, the board adjourned the
meeting at 7:17 pm. Motion passed.
