DRAFT SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING January 28, 2025 The Town Board of the Town of Cooperstown, Manitowoc County, Wisconsin, convened in open session on January 28, 205, at 7:00 p.m., at the Town Hall for the purpose of transacting business as the Town Board. Town Chairman called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Pledge of allegiance. Roll Call: Chairman David Blakeslee, Sup. Hank Kouba, Sup. Anthony Shibler, Clerk Susan Kornely, Treasurer Bernadette Duescher Others present: Steven Zeitler, American Surveys LLC. Two residents were present. The agenda has been publicly noticed at the one posting site and on the town website. On a motion by Sup. Kouba and seconded by Chairman Blakeslee, moved to approve the agenda as presented. Motion passed. On a motion by Sup. Shibler and seconded by Sup. Kouba, moved to approve the minutes for January 14, 205 Town Board Meeting. Motion passed. Public comments and suggestions from residents of the town and other person’s present. Public Hearing Discussion and action on Radtke Road cul-de-sac – Per the Clerks conversation with GIS Coordinator Matt Randerson and Real Property Lister Aprille Calewarts it was suggested to file the Correction Instrument and obtain a new CSM. On a motion by Sup. Shibler and seconded by Sup. Kouba, moved to file an affidavit of correction for the 1994 Certified Survey Map regarding dedication of the cul-de-sac on the end of Radtke Rd and obtain a new Certified Survey Map of the cul-de-sac. Motion passed. Clerk Kornely signed Exhibit A of the Correction Instrument. Steve Zeitler will have his signature notarized and will file with RPL Aprille Calawarts and Register of Deeds, Manitowoc County. Discussion and action Correction Instrument & New CSM – Radtke Road cul-de-sac- Steve Zeitler will discuss with Matt Randerson on the required for a new CSM. Discussion on whether the 2008 CSM also needs to be corrected. No action. Discussion and action on Town cul-de-sacs list- Cedar Creek Dr, Deerfield Rd, Parizek Dr, Devils River Dr, Lakeview Dr, Lakeview Dr, Hickory Heights Dr, Hickory Heights Ct, Fairhills Ct, and Pine Hills Dr are dedicated for cul-de-sacs. No action. Discussion and action on Endorsement of Bertram Communications LLC’s application for BEAD funding- On a motion by Chairman Blakeslee and seconded by Sup. Shibler, move to approve the letter of Endorsement of Bertram Communications LLC’s application for BEAD funding. Motion passed. Procedural Motions by members of town board On a motion by Sup. Shibler and seconded by Sup. Kouba, moved to approve all checks as presented. Motion passed. Future agenda: February 11th: Discussion and action on 2008 CSM if needed. On a motion by Sup.
