CLOSED SESSION MEETING October 22, 2024 The Town Board of the Town of Cooperstown, Manitowoc County, Wisconsin, convened in open session on October 22, 2024, at 7:00 p.m., at the Town Hall for the purpose of transacting business as the Town Board. Town Chairman called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Roll Call: Chairman David Blakeslee, Sup. Hank Kouba, Sup. Anthony Shibler, Clerk Susan Kornely, Treasurer Bernadette Duescher and Constable Kelly Kane. The agenda has been publicly noticed at the one posting site and on the town website. Pledge of Allegiance On a motion by Sup. Shibler and seconded by Sup. Kouba, moved to closed session. Motion passed. The Board convened to Close Session to discuss compensation of employees and performance evaluation under Sec 19.85 (1)(b) & (c) of the Wis. Statutes. On a motion by Sup. Shibler and seconded by Sup. Kouba, moved to increase wage at Transfer Site to $16.50 from $15.00 for all employee except Emory Umentum which will stay $15.00 per hour starting January 1, 2025. Motion passed. On a motion by Chairman Blakeslee and seconded by Sup. Shibler, moved to increase wage for Steve Post(Roadman) to $26.50 from $22.00 per hour starting January 1, 2025. Motion passed on a vote of 2/1. Sup. Kouba nye. On a motion by Sup. Shibler and seconded by Chairman Blakeslee, moved to increase wage for James Umentum(Roadman) to $18.00 from $17.00 per hour starting January 1, 2025. Motion passed. On a motion by Sup. Kouba and seconded by Chairman Blakeslee, moved to close the close session and return to open session. Motion passed. On a motion by Sup.
