TOWN BOARD MEETING May 28, 2024 The Town Board of the Town of Cooperstown, Manitowoc County, Wisconsin, convened in open session on May 28, 2024, at 7:15 p.m., at the Town Hall for the purpose of transacting business as the Town Board. Town Chairman called the meeting to order at 7:15 p.m. Pledge of allegiance. Roll Call: Chairman David Blakeslee, Sup. Hank Kouba, Sup. Anthony Shibler, Clerk Susan Kornely, Treasurer Bernadette Duescher, and Constable Kelly Kane. Others present: Two residents were present. The agenda has been publicly noticed at the one posting site and on the town website. On a motion by Sup. Kouba and seconded by Sup. Shibler, moved to approve the agenda as presented. Motion passed. Public comments and suggestions from residents of the town and other person’s present. None Public Hearing Discussion and action on Plan Commission Recommendation on Rezoning for Ethan and Cayla Binish - On a motion by Sup. Kouba and seconded by Sup. Shibler, moved to approve the rezoning recommendation as presented. Letter to be sent by the Clerk to County Planning and Zoning. Discussion and action on culvert replacement- sealed bids – No bids were received. The board discussed re-posting for sealed bids on culvert replacement for the June 11th meeting. No action. Discussion and action on 50/50 County Culvert Program (ARPA) Board will submit a request to the County with new bids for culverts installment. No action. Discussion and action of Ag Road Improvement Program-road selection – Board discussed the forms received on farmland. The board discussed roads impacted, Fisherville Road (corner of Pleasant Road and Fisherville Road), Hickory Grove Road, Zander Rd (across the town). The board is gathering more forms from area businesses: Carew Concrete, NCL, Maribel Grain, United Cooperative, and area farms. No action. Discussion and action establishing hours of work, part-time employees- jobs for one person or two persons and approval process – Board reviewed amendments to work that requires two employees and the handling of expenditures: supplies, repairs. No action. Procedural Motions by members of town board None. Future agenda: June 11th: Liquor/Beer License and Operator License, Discussion and action on Gerald Kane property & 18426 CTH R property and other properties, Discussion and action on re-keying all doors and gates and sign off document, Discussion and action on summer projects and work schedules (PT employees), ARIP, Discussion and action on amendments to Handbook On a motion by Sup.
