Additional temporary repairs were needed on East Hillcrest and was authorized by Chairman Pohl with an estimate amount of $2500.00 determi ned to be needed as soon as possible with Manitowoc County doing the work. The supervisors supported this repair. It was reported that the Town was approved for our LRIP project on Tannery Road scheduled for 2027. Total project cost 181,758.00 and the L RIP amount is $30,479.32. It is being scheduled for 2027 due to the culvert which will need to be replaced, hoping for the Small Structure grant for this replacement otherwise we will have to do it under bridge aid. Our cost would be $148,632.54 for the road project. Discussion was held on a change to our Town attorney due to possible conflicts of interest as the same firm also represents the City of Two Rivers. Clerk Timm will get a proposal from Hopp Neumann Lemke LLC which is being used by many other municipalities in the area. Discussion was held on the potential annexation of property into the City of Two Rivers. This is Coenen property off Cardinal Lane. Th e city has power to do this and there is nothing we can do. It is a private sale to the City and then beca use it is contingent to the City from the East Side, the y have the right. The City is looking to access this property from Cardinal Lane, and we can require the city to take over that road going forward at their costs due to future construction use. It would have to be widened, and we are concerned with additional traffic on County V V. Reports were given by Constable, Fire Chief, Ambulance Board member and Recycling Manager. Dalen will work on the Salt Contract, and he is getting our current year order on Ju ly 14, 2026. The State is changing from Morton Salt to Compass Minerals and there is an increase in cost for 2027 to $95.72 per ton. Crew is 2/3rds done with crack filling. Still Johnston Drive and our part of Woodland Drive and will be continuing to cut ditches. Recycling Manager stated the compactor shoul d be repaired sometime this week (July 13 – 17). She also requested the fan be cleaned to help move the air better. Constable made contact with Brandon Johnson and Clerk Timm was instructed to find out from the county if any permits (septic and setback) have been applied for and then send a letter that he has to move his trailer for at least 10 days and move his project along. Mr. Johnson stated he has a poly tank buried and a hose to that tank for his waste from his trailer. ( This is also not legal) He will have to the end of August 31, 2026 to get the septic permit and installed and the setback permits and move the trailer o ff the property. His fine will be $188.00 and then $250 .00 if he does not comply and this could be charged each day he does not take action. Ambulance board member---doing a feasibility study with the City of Two Rivers to see in what direction the ambulance service can move. There are potential grants available, however, we are also having issues getting volunteers. People are leaving, moving or getting full-time jobs that will prevent them from taking any call time. The board is committed to finding a solution for our residents. If the City of Two Rivers covers a shift for us, we will not incur any costs, but City of Two Rivers will be billing the patient and receiving any payments. Fire Chief stated that there was an issue with tire rotation service at Maritime Ford that did not tighten lug nuts and ruined the rim on Squad 2. The cost of this should be paid by Maritime Ford. Motion was made by Petska and seconded by Chase to adjourn meeting at 6:58pm. Motion was carried. Respectfully submitted, ___________________________________ Bonnie Timm ______________________________ Clerk/Treasurer Authenticated by Steve Pohl, Chairman
