Board of Review — Minutes

BOAR OF REVIEW April 28, 2026 The Board of Review for the Village of Cameron was held on April 28, 2026 at the Cameron Village Hall, beginning at 5:30 pm. Members present: Russ Hulback, Steve Johnson, Kristi Anderson, and Village assessor Anthonie Draaijer, Prochnow Assessing, LLC. Chairman Hulback opened the meeting at 5:30 pm. Russ Hulback was selected as chairperson. Clerk Anderson was selected as BOR Vice-Chairperson. It was verified by Clerk Anderson that Russell Hulback has met the mandatory training requirements under state law. No value was made by the assessor using the income method. The assessment roll was duly received. The roll was examined, and no errors were found at open book. This was verified on the assessment roll prior to this Board of Review meeting. There were no written Objection to Real Property Assessment received. Clerk Anderson indicated all proper publications were completed, no written objections were received, and the clerk is not aware of any assessment erroneous errors. Chairman Hulback made a motion that the Assessor’s valuation is correct, and that the Assessor presented evidence of the fair market value of the subject property using assessment methods which conform to the statutory requirements. Trustee Steve Johnson second the motion. A roll call vote was taken: Kristi Anderson – Yes, Steve Johnson – Yes and Russ Hulback – Yes. No one presented to the Board of Review and the BOR was closed. At 7:30 pm Russ Hulback closed the BOR. As there were no other objections, at 7:30 pm. Steve Johnson moved to adjourn the Board of Review. Submitted by, Kristi Anderson, Village Clerk-Treasurer
