2026 CAUCUS VILLAGE OF CAMERON JANUARY 12, 2026 | 6:00 P.M. 300 N 1st Street, Cameron, WI 54822 CAUCUS MINUTES I. Call to order by the Village President at 6:00 PM. Present were Board of Trustees: Steve Johnson, Kathy Krug, Denise Paddock, Jessica Larson, David Ebner, Russell Hulback. Absent Trustee Randy Hill. Staff present: DPW-Ebert, COP-Engel, C-T-Story. Building Inspector Joe Atwood. II. Clerk confirmed all present have signed the sign-in sheet: Aye. III. Notices attested by Clerk: Aye. IV. Village President nominated a Chairperson to run the Caucus: President Hulback nominated himself/seconded by Trustee Larson. All aye. None opposed. Motion carried. 6-0. V. Russ Hulback announced the method of nominating and indicated a wait period to allow for person(s) running late. VI. Russ Hulback announced the method of breaking a tie: No more than six nominations are allowed. If more than a total of six nominations received, the Electors will a) nominate two tellers to conduct a vote, b) obtain vote from Electors by show of hands for each nominee, c) tellers will announce the winners of the vote VII. Russ Hulback called for Nominations for Village Trustees, announcing three (3) seats. VIII. Electors offered nominations by motion: Denise Paddock nominates Steve Johnson; Seconded by Dave Ebner Kathy Krug nominates Denise Paddock; Seconded by Jessica Larson Dave Ebner nominates Kathy Krug; Seconded by Steve Johnson IX. Russ Hulback announced names for Steve Johnson, Denise Paddock, Kathy Krug X. Electors offered motion to adjourn the Caucus Motion by Steve Johnson to adjourn the caucus; seconded by Denise Paddock. All aye. None opposed. Caucus adjourned.
