The minutes of the Monthly Meeting of the Town Board of Sanborn, Ashland County Wisconsin held January 9th, 2023. The meeting was called to order at 6:00p.m. Those in attendance are Richard Mitchell, Scott Bretting, Mel Maday, Joe Bates, Sandy Deragon, Kim Kallio, Alicia Oconnor, Mike Berlin, Alex Pino, Scott Bender, Ben Connors, Todd Kraft, Luis Salas and Jamie Weaver. Motion to accept the 12/12/22 minutes by Ben Connors seconded by Todd Kraft, motion carried. Motion to accept the 12/22 Treasurers report by Todd Kraft seconded by Ben Connors, motion carried. Luis opened the meeting with the citizen participation period. Next Luis discussed the easement for Bear Trap Rd, discussion follows. Motion to grant easement by Ben Connors seconded by Todd Kraft, motion carried. Luis then discussed the tax litigation case and its effect on our taxpayers and community, much emotional discussion follows. Next, the Board gave their reports. The road report was given by Alex.
