The minutes of the Monthly Meeting of the Town Board of Sanborn, Ashland County Wisconsin held December 12th, 2022. The meeting was called to order at 6:00p.m. Those in attendance are Richard Mitchell, Andy Maday, Pat Kinney, Joe Bates, Sandy Deragon, Ron Nye, Mike Berlin, Alex Pino, Scott Bender, Ben Connors, Todd Kraft, Luis Salas and Jamie Weaver. Jamie gave an update to the 2023 budget reduction from the DOR and the Town will not be exceeding the levy limit due to the resolution not being formatted correctly. Motion to accept the 11/14/22 minutes by Ben Connors seconded by Todd Kraft, motion carried. Motion to accept the 11/22/22 Public hearing minutes by Todd Kraft seconded by Ben Connors, motion carried. Motion to accept the 11/22/22 special town meeting minutes by Ben Connors seconded by Todd Kraft, motion carried. Motion to accept the 11/22/22 Board meeting minutes by Todd Kraft seconded by Ben Connors, motion carried. Motion to accept the 11/22 Treasurers report by Todd Kraft seconded by Ben Connors, motion carried. Luis opened the meeting with the citizen participation period and there was much discussion regarding taxes and being able to build on private land. Mike Berlin addressed the Board to ask for a donation to give fruit baskets to the local children from the elders. Motion to donate $150.00 by Ben Connors seconded by Todd Kraft, motion carried. Next, the Bad River Roads Department was looking for a letter of support for the BR Temporary Bridge Program, discussion follows. Motion to support by Todd Kraft seconded by Ben Connors, motion carried. Next, the Board gave their reports. The road report was given by Alex.
