Requested Changes on Alpine Drive
• Reduce Speed limit on Alpine Drive to 45 MPH.
o Apache (sister road) has 45 MPH speed limit
• Alpine Drive has significantly more residents, businesses, and entrances and
driveways than Apache
• Multiple deer hits, accidents (one almost fatal), and missed stops at the intersection
of Alpine and County Road Z resulting in crashes
• Signage on Alpine does not match that on Apache
Recent replacement of “stop ahead and arrow” sings have recently been replaced, THANK
YOU!
Current Signage on Alpine Drive

Remedy:
• Install a second sign on Alpine Drive on the opposite side of the road as with
Apache.
• Reduce speed limit on Alpine to 45 MPH, same as Apache.
• “Rumble Strips” a good idea but would be very loud for residents located near the
road.
