JUNE 10, 2024 REGULAR TOWN BOARD MEETING W8241 BROWN DEER DR Meeting called to order by Chairman Nett. Present were the board: J. Nett, R. Van, G. Peterman, L. Stea and P . Nett. Public present Allen Stea, Sheila Dassow and John Jarvis, County Board Supervisor. Motion by Supervisor Peterman to approve the agenda. Seconded by Supervisor Van. Motion carried. (board had quorum). Motion by Supervisor Van to approve the minutes of the May 13, 2024 meeting. Seconded by Supervisor Peterman. Motion carried. Treasurer’s Report by Treasurer L. Stea. Heard from one of the companies with the unpaid Personal Property bill. Was his last day off work and cleaning up his desk. Unpaid from 2022 and 2023. Will see if we received payment. Clerk’s report by Clerk P. Nett: Have submitted both the MAR Report and MOE Report to the Dept of Revenue. MAR is regarding personal property. Assessor helped with filling that one out. MOE is Maintenance of Effort regarding shared revenue. Got reports needed from WRAFD and WAFD and EMS and submitted report to the Dept of Revenue. Public comments: Sheila Dassow regarding billing for ATV signs. John Jarvis with update on new Government Bldg and Open House at end of June. One correspondence from State Dept of Corrections and 5 letters from Zoning reviewed. Bughs Lake Management Dist – no report Motion to accept Applications for Liquor Licenses, Cigarette Licenses and Operator Licenses by Supervisor Van. Seconded by Supervisor Peterman. Motion carried. Lists attached. Report by Supervisor Van on meeting of WAFD. Had election of officers. No report on WRAFD by Allen Stea since the board did not meet yet this month. No report on 13 th Ave Dam Project. Chairman Nett advises that County Hwy Dept has done the Bridge Inspection for Graffitti Bridge. Will also speak with County Hwy Dept to do mowing as soon as they are able. Also, to look at pothole issues on a couple roads. Letter has been sent to all parties involved in the Mankowski fence issue. Will see what response is received regarding that letter. Motion by Supervisor Van to pay bills with check #3861 to check #3866. Seconded by Supervisor Peterman. Motion carried. (board had quorum). Motion to adjourn by Supervisor Peterman.
