Executive Committee Meeting — Agenda

Village of Wild Rose Executive Committee Meeting Friday August 22, 2025 Meeting called to order @ 8:00 am, Roll Call: P/Ganzel, T/Eilers, T/Pilz (sitting in for T/Lauritzen) and Robbie Jansen, Street and Sewer Maintenance Supervisor. A motion from T/Eilers;2nd by T/Pilz to move into closed session per WI States 19.85(1)(C): considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governing body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility. Voice Vote: T/Eilers, aye; T/Pilz, aye, p/Ganzel, aye. Motion carried. Robbie and T/Pilz shared information from the interviews and why Greg Ida was the recommendation. Discussion with regard to starting salary. It was agreed that $23.00 per hour with the increments for passing the sewer tests, plus benefits and match his current vacation time. A motion from T/Pilz; 2nd by T/Eilers to move back to open session to conduct the business of closed session. Voice Vote: T/Pilz, aye; T/Eilers, aye; P/Ganzel, aye. Motion carried. A motion from T/Eilers;2nd by T/Pilz to offer Greg Ida the Maintenance position at $23.00 per hour plus benefits within the perimeters of the employment agreement and match his current vacation time. Motion carried. Greg was called and offered the position and given a week to decide and to refer any questions to Robbie or the village clerk/treasurer when she returns on August 28.
