Special Board Meeting — Minutes

Special Meeting of the Village of Wild Rose Board of Trustees May 15, 2025 Present: P/Ganzel, T/Pilz, T/Szymborski, T/Hansen Jr., T/Lauritzen, T/Yeska, and T/Eilers. The meeting was called to order at 6:26 p.m. T/Yeska seconded by T/Lauritzen made a motion to approve the agenda as presented. Motion carried. T/Pilz seconded by T/Eilers made a motion to approve Ordinance 2025-01 Swimming Pools. T/Pilz aye, T/Szymborski aye, T/Hansen Jr aye, T/Lauritzen aye, T/Yeska aye, T/Eilers aye, and P/Ganzel aye. Motion carried. Jim Curran with Birdsong Estates was present with questions regarding the high capacity well at Birdsong. He stated that he would like the Village to take over the well as it will become a financial burden and hardship for him. He expressed that he would be willing to donate the well to the Village. P/Ganzel stated that the Village was not interested in taking over the well as there was too much of a cost associated with it, and could not justify it after the cost that was incurred on the Village to install utility infrastructure into the subdivision, yet not much improvement has been made to date. Jim Curran requested that the Village continue thinking about taking over the well and that he was working on getting builders interested in purchasing properties to build spec homes. T/Yeska seconded by T/Lauritzen made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried. Submitted to the Village Board by Lindsey, Village Clerk
