MINUTES FROM THE CITY OF WAUTOMA MEETING OF THE REGULAR COMMON COUNCIL MONDAY, MARCH 11th, 2024 6:00 p.m. Mayor Nixon called the regular meeting of the Regular City of Wautoma Common Council to order at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, March 11th, 2024. Present: Mayor Nixon, Alderpersons Pat King, Aaron Grimm, Eric Tratar, Bob Cayer, Steve Ryerson and Ryan Petersen Excused: None Prayer and Pledge took place. Alderperson King motioned to approve minutes from the Regular Common Council meeting held on February 12 th, 2024 and Finance and Personnel Committee held on February 12th, 2024, and the motion was seconded by Alderperson Petersen and carried 6-0. Alderperson Ryerson motioned to approve the agenda. The motion was seconded by Alderperson Tratar and carried 6-0. Alderperson Grimm motioned to approve Resolution #2024-01 with additional language proposed by the Secretary of Transportation Petitioning for Airport Improvement Aid. The motion was seconded by Alderperson Petersen and carried 6-0. Mr. Bohler presented his report to the council. Mayor Nixon presented his report to the council. Chief Mott presented the 2023 Annual Police Report to the Council, noting that the city’s crime rate has reduced by 147% and the rating improved from a D- to an A+. Alderperson Cayer motioned to approve the payment of monthly vouchers, which was seconded by Alderperson Tratar and carried 6-0. Alderperson Petersen motioned to adjourn, which was seconded by Alderperson Cayer and carried 6-0.
